Yes. I require a 50% non-refundable deposit. (The deposit is transferrable to a new date.)

Because I am so lucky to have amazing clients, I typically book out 2-3 months in advance.

I request 12-14 business days (Monday – Friday) to have your completed design back to you.

Also, please be reasonable with how long it takes you to respond with changes to your inital design proof so we can make sure to stay on schedule for myself and you. 

A payment schedule of the following is applied to all bookings:

50% non-refundable deposit at time of booking.

Remaining 50% non-refundable balanace due 5 days before our scheduled date. 

Any fit in projects will not have a payment schedule. Full payment will be due before we being working together.

First off, I am so glad you’ve decided to trust me with your design!

1. The first thing you will need to do is read and electronically sign a contract I will send to the email address supplied. This contract may look intimdating at first, but I promise, it’s harmless. This contract is to protect us both while working together, and ultimately make us both feel comfortable. This contract is not meant to trick you into signing your life away. I pinky swear.

2. Once your contract is signed and submmited, you will recieve an invoice via email (not paypal). This invoice will be directly from my billing system, but you are welcome to pay it with your Paypal account! This is where you will pay your 50% non-refunable deposit.

3. 14 days before your scheduled date, you will recieve a book cover questionairre via email to fill out. I will ask for all of the things I need to begin your inital mock up. (Note: I only do one inital mock up with one main cover image of your choosing. If you decide you’d like to take the cover in a different direction or choose a different main cover image, there will be additional fees.) Please make sure you put any detail big or small on this cover design form, including inspirational cover designs you feel suit your story (I will not copy a cover, only use it for insipration.) This form is also where you can attach any stock images you feel would suit your design.

4. 7 days before your scheduled date, you will recieve a reminder via email about your upcoming cover date. At this point, if you haven’t already, would be a great time to pay your remaining balanace on your invoice.

The big day is here! While in a perfect world, I would get to start on your design on this exact day, this is the reason I do ask for 10-14 business days to get your completed design back to you. If you don’t hear from me today, give me a few days, and I PROMISE I’ll be showing up in your inbox. If I have any questions, you will also hear from me, so please try to check your email and messenger reguarly.

6. I’m finally finished with your inital design proof! At this point, I will send it to you to review and see if there is any changes you would like. This cover is not finished. You may not see the small flaws, but they are there. I will fix those before I send your final draft for approval.

7. It’s final approval time! We did it! You should be recieving your final approval form via email where you will sign off on the design. Please make sure you look over every detail carefully as once your final approval is given on this form, there will be additional fees for any changes EXCEPT SAMPLE BLURBS. (If you don’t have your blurb/synopsis ready yet, I will place a sample blurb on the cover. When you are approving the final design, if this sample blurb is on the cover, this will no incur an extra fee. Whenever you have the real blurb ready, we will add it and reapprove the blurb portion on another form.)

8. Within a few days of approval, you will recieve your final design packages from me!
